Weights
Our items are sold either in units of 500grammes
(i.e. 4 units = 2Kg) or individually.
As with all fresh products weights are approximate and items will be priced on weight at time of dispatch and charged accordingly..
PAYMENT
Credit Card Online
Pearsons of Ingleton accepts all major credit cards. We require your payment details when you place an order so please have them ready. We can also accept cheques, postal orders for payment of your order when shopping on-line.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card details are handled via encrypted communications (secure socket layer) through our online transaction partner using their world-class service and security. We do not handle or store any credit card details on our system. Your order payment will be transacted through our Shop terminal on the day of order dispatch.
Delivery
Orders can be collected from Pearsons of Ingleton, Main Street, Ingleton, North Yorkshire, LA6 3EB at no charge.
Local orders (within 25 miles of Ingleton and over £25) can be delivered FREE
We deliver throughout the Uk at a delivery price of £11.50
Delivery Schedule
All orders delivered by courier incur a charge of £3.50 to cover packaging. All these orders are sent in refrigerated containers. You will be informed the day before dispatch.
Packaging and Weights.
All the meat is clearly labelled with the cut, the date of processing and weight. It can be kept in the fridge to be eaten by its ‘use by’ date or frozen immediately and kept up to three months.
We aim to provide a cut of meat as close to the weights detailed on the website as possible, generally higher. If for any reason a cut may be slightly under the weight requested from the website we will always make up the difference with meat of the same or greater quality of cut / cost per kilo in other parts of the order. We will provide an exact breakdown of the weights of your order in the confirmatory email which we will send to you when your order is ready for despatch.
Delivery Instructions
When you place your order you will be asked to give clear instructions where we can securely leave the parcel if you are not at home when the courier arrives, i.e. with a neighbour, in the garage or porch etc. Alternatively we can deliver to your work address if that is more convenient for you.
Please inform us by calling the shop as soon as possible if your order is not delivered when expected.
Due to the fresh nature of the products we cannot accept returns or refund purchases when our carrier is unable to deliver in the event that no one is available to accept the order and no alternative delivery instructions can be carried out.
Our Guarantee
We are committed to providing you with wonderful organic meat – but, if for any reason our meat does not arrive in perfect condition, or you are unhappy with any part of your order please inform us within 24 hours of acceptance of delivery. Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us by phone or email no later than 24 hours from placing your order.
Out of Stock Items
Although we make every effort to ensure we can offer the whole range of meats and cuts, sometimes we may not have some options, either due to seasonality or demand. If this is the case and one of the items you have ordered is not in stock we will inform you immediately so you can choose an alterative option or cancel the order.
